We offer tailored courses for Nurseries and Schools and our Spanish Teacher comes to you!
Each lesson is 45 minutes long with the objective of the children learning new words and short phrases by the end of each lesson.
Our curriculum is designed to enable learners to achieve the Curriculum for Excellence Benchmarks for Modern Languages.
At Early Level, children are introduced in a fun, playful way to basic Spanish vocabulary and rhyme through topics such as:
- Hello and goodbye.
- My name is… pleased to meet you!
- Alphabet sounds.
- Counting to 10.
- Colours.
- A trip to the supermarket.
- Our Favourite Animals.
- Who’s in your family?
School Programmes
We use the same fun methods to teach the basics of Spanish at First & Second Level, but in addition, older children will be introduced to more complex grammar including Spanish verbs, adjectives, adverbs, tenses, prepositions and so forth, giving them a good grounding to speak, read and understand the Spanish language.
School programmes can be tailored to match the CfE benchmarks at any level.

About The Teacher
Junior Spanish was created and is taught by Irineu De Oliveira (BA Honours Modern Languages). Irineu has taught as a languages teacher at the University of Strathclyde, as well as in schools and nurseries in the UK and South America. He is also the author of 10 best-selling language teaching books.
